Loyalty Points Scheme

We have introduced a loyalty points scheme to say ‘thank-you’ and to reward our loyal customers.

You will earn points each time you order from The Fairy Garden and your points will be added to your account automatically.  You will need to open an account for the points to be saved as guest check-out orders cannot earn points.

Points can be used each time you order or can be saved up and used for something special, and you can be assured that there is no time limit on using your points as they will not run out of date.  You can see how many points you earn on each product as you shop and the total points you have saved will be shown when you go through to the checkout.  Any previously earned points can then be redeemed if you choose.  If you have already opened an account with us then you need do nothing further – your all set to go!

You cannot transfer your points to any other account holder and points cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

National UK Delivery

We strive to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receipt, however, during peak times such as Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day etc., this may take longer.  Orders containing personalised or bespoke items, handmade teacup or shoe gardens may take longer.

We use both Royal Mail tracked service and DPD to deliver your order depending on the size, weight and value.  Orders dispatched via DPD are delivered on the next working day, and orders dispatched via Royal Mail may take up to 3 working days.  The Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, The Isle of Mann and all Channel Islands may take between 3 – 5 days for delivery.  Please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive.

Orders for next day delivery have to be placed before 11.00 a.m. for delivery the next day.  Orders placed on a Friday after 11.00 am will not be processed and despatched until Monday, for delivery on Tuesday.  Bespoke or custom orders and complete fairy gardens may take a little longer to despatch.

With both Royal Mail and DPD we only use a fully tracked service which will require a signature upon delivery.  With DPD you will get an email alert or text message advising you of your delivery slot which can then be rearranged if not convenient and you can also choose to have your order left in a safe place or with a neighbour.  However, we will not be held responsible for any missing order that has been left in a ‘safe’ place, and we ask that you do NOT ask for orders to be left in recycling bins.

Local Collection Option

Local orders can be collected from our  shop in Higham Ferrers during normal opening hours.  Shop address is: 44 High Street, Higham Ferrers, NN10 8BL.  Please telephone 01480 860584 to arrange a collection time.

Returns and Refunds

Here at The Fairy Garden we are committed to keeping our customers happy.  You can therefore return any unwanted item for a refund or exchange provided that the items are returned to us unused and in perfect condition and within 7 days of receipt.

If an item has arrived damaged or faulty we will replace the item or issue a full refund.  We may ask you to provide a photograph of the packaging and proof of the damage, and depending on the value of your order, we may ask you to return this to us for our inspection.  If an error has been made with your order, we will promptly, and as the circumstances demand, replace the goods or issue a refund.

Any return postage charges will be fully reimbursed for items that are damaged or faulty.  Return postage costs must be borne by the customer for any item that is returned for any other reason.  If you have changed your mind about an item and wish to exchange for another product then you will have to bear the postage cost for the exchanged item.  We will also levy a 10% restocking and repackaging charge on all items returned unless they were damaged in transit to the customer or faulty.

We cannot issue a refund for any personalised product unless there is an error with the details or a fault with the item.

Refunds will only be made to the original payee.  No refunds will be given against gift vouchers.

Our returns policies do not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Vouchers
Please note that gift vouchers can only be redeemed for products and cannot, under any circumstances, be exchanged for cash.  Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from date of issue.

Product Information

We have attempted to give accurate descriptions, size and colour information against each product.  However, there may be some variations where natural and organic materials have been used, and where products have been hand made.  There may be some slight variations in size and colourings  in the items hand made from polymer clay.  Computer screens may also show colours slightly differently and a little more ‘dull’ than they actually are.

We have, where possible, attempted to weather proof all hand made items by sealing with a laquer or exterior varnish, but it must be noted that sunlight will naturally fade just about any material.  We therefore recommend that miniature products are placed in a shaded or protected spot for prolonged enjoyment, and you should not leave your miniature items exposed to the harsh winter months.

It should be noted that our miniature products are not intended to be used as toys, and are not suitable for very young children due to small parts or sharp edges.  We ask you to supervise young children at all times.

We reserve the right to make changes to, or improvements to, any of our products at any time.
